Summary: Spaceous rooms for half the price as the rest of Utrecht. Large affordable parking space. We had a great stay for leisure/business. The hotel is a short 10 min bicycle ride away from the center, which is a lovely trip. Only down side is limited check in times, but the host were very kind and helpful for us anyways. It could be sorted with lock boxes for the future. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Summary: Great hotel. Was only there for a couple of days so didn’t use any of the self catering aspect of the facilities however these looked complete. I arrived a little later than expected around 2130 and then reception were very helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable with great views over the canal. The bathroom whilst a little small had one of the best hotel showers I’ve ever used. The restaurant and bar downstairs is very nice and the staff down there were excellent too.

Summary: Very functional kitchen with all the amenities you could hope for and a nice comfortable bed. Hotel staff are responsive to requests through WhatsApp. The main reason I took off a star is for the very tiny bathroom and shower. I wish they had made these bigger even if the rest of the room was then smaller. The bidet was also not very useful because of the angle it sprayed.

Summary: Perfect business / academic accommodation in Utrecht - Wonderful staff and facilities. Only took me 2 days to work out the De Blend wasn’t referring to the convergence of 2 kanaals …. It was the DE Coffee!!!! 🙄
